The Revenge of the Wannabes (The Clique, No. 3)

pr“es Thanksgiving. Weeks before Christmas. Alicia and Olivia are on their way to Manhattan so the Teen People editors can do a story on them about winning the Octavian Country Day uniform design contest. When Massie finally processes that the girls who hijacked her victory are also modeling for Teen People, she is livid. It should have been her. 'Ehmagod, what will everyone think when they find out it wasn't me who was asked to model? I will be SO over.' Massie decides it's time to get revenge. This snake can not lay idle in the weeds for one more second. Kristen and Dylan throw out terrible 'revenge' suggestions and Massie vetoes them all. She will think of something! But first she has to go home and exfoliate. The social minefields of Westchester County's most privileged middle school girls drive the page-turning action of this addictive series, set in New York City's most elite suburban county. The Clique . . . the only thing harder than getting in is staying in.

I loved this book. If you loved the other two bookos, then this is defenitly fofr you. Massie is sooooooo mad that Alicia betrayed her (Hello so would you) and she has to get her back. They fight back and forth but Alicia turned Dylan, Kristen, and Claire against her. Alicia is a B****! THis story will defeinetly make you want to read it over and over and over again. I read lots of books, so when i say this is a good book you just gor to believe me!

Q. What happens when the beta of the most popular clique at an exclusive Westchester girls school wants to start her own clique?
A. Catfight!!!!
Alicia Rivera has been second to Massie Block for as long as she can remember. But now she's tired of it and wants to start her own clique. She replaces Massie's rich, pretty followers with wannabes. But then Massie and her two BFFs, Kristen Gregory and Dylan Marvil share secrets and Alicia's "secret source" a.k.a the newest Clique member, Claire Lyons's younger brother, Todd, eavesdrops on their conversation and tells the secrets to Alicia, who tells Kristen and Dylan that she knows and they assume Massie told her. So they ditch Massie and join Alicia's clique. Claire is caught between cliques since she and Massie are crushing on the same guy, the ah-dorable Cam Fisher, and Massie won't let Claire hang out with Cam and be friends with her. Problem is, Cam likes Claire, NOT Massie. But then Claire finds out Massie likes Cam and gets mad at her, and everything gets all mixed up. Meanwhile, the fighting girls are modeling for a holiday issue of Teen People and lots happens in the Big Apple, including the end of the fight and the ditching of Alicia's wannabe clique.
Overall, this is the best book I've ever read. It shows how mean and snobby girls can get, but it also shows that even the meanest girls have heart.
I ah-dored this book!!!!!!!!!!!!

The teenage Paris-Hiltons are back, and they're ready for a fight. Not with their perfectly manicured hands of course.
When Alicia wants to have her own sleepover, Massie just knows that the poor chica is askin' it. After all, she DID steal that award that was rightfully Massie's (and Claire's, the new IT-Girl.) So Massie decides to ruin her. Alicia becomes officially OUT of the Pretty Commitee- an IT-Girl one day, the next an EW. An Eternal Wannabe. The person that no one, absolutely no one wants to hang out with except for trashy, nose-job-getting Olivia Ryan. Oh, and the two look-alikes of Massie's two other best friends that she's found.
Alicia goes on to get a modeling job, which makes Massie CRAZY. Massie just has to be part of it, because if not, people might start liking Alicia and Olivia more that her. Or worse, thinking that Olivia and Alicia are prettier than her, which, of course, in her mind is VERY far from the truth.
Will everything work out for Alicia- or will she be more OUT than the girl that picks her nose? Read and find out.

This book is a real page turner. I loved it. I read it every chance I had. The characters and plot are so realistic. I couldn't put it down. Best Book Ever! I would reccomend this book to any girl who enjoys a little romance, some comedic moments, and cliffhangers. If you read this, you enter an amazing journey through girl world... where cat fights are permitted!
