I`m far from a Bob Villa, however this book makes it easy to understand the concepts. The photos are clear and there are many which is helpful. The explanations are also well written. Highly recommended.

WITH OUR KIDS BUYING A 100 YEAR OLD HOME WE WERE ANXIOUS TO GIVE THEM LOTS OF HELP. BUT WE COULDN'T BE THERE EVERY DAY TO GIVE ADVICE, SO...... THIS BOOK WILL BE A GREAT HELP!
