Sooner or Later

Dear Jack,
I may be a rough, tough solider of fortune but I've me my match!
I'm in Central America on a no-win job and regretting every minute. A woman named Letty Madden hired me to find her missing brother. I'd figured this prim and proper Texas postmistress would run and hide when I named my price: one night. I was wrong.
I swear the woman is my punishment for never giving a damn about anyone. She's as stubborn as a mule and soft and sweet . . . and hell, buddy, I'm in big trouble. Getting out alive is the least of my problems.

I found this book to be almost spell binding could hardly put it down. I would also love to read Jack's story and am curious about when it will be out. Ms Macombers books are just great love them all.

I love to read a book you can get involved in along with the characters. Someday Soon and Sooner or Later are those type of books, but I am left to wander what will happen to Jack? Is there a woman out there for him? Please write him a happy ever after he deserves one. Better Late Than Never?

This is second book in the Deliverance Company mercenary series, between Someday Soon (Cain's story) and Moon Over Water (Jack's Story), about unscrupulous but likable heros who rescue victims of third world terrorists. I wish I had realized that this was a series so I could have avoided reading the books out of order!
Adventure romances are a refreshing change of pace for me, and I really found myself on the edge of my seat while reading. The torture of victims and killings were told in rather gruesome detail, but all-in-all, an interesting and exciting story.
