Sister Peters In Amsterdam (Best of Betty Neels)
asked by redryder on November 2, 2006 7:31 PM
Sister Adelaide Peters was surprised, but also very proud and excited, to have been chosen to represent her hospital in a new exchange scheme. It meant she'd be spending a year in Holland. Adelaide was determined to do her best, and she more than succeeded! She adored Holland, liked her colleagues and even mastered some of the language.
She also unexpectedly -- and disastrously -- fell in love with her new boss.
But Professor Coenraad van Essen was clearly out of her league.
Reviews
Listed as her first of many this is an enjoyable quick read. I, like many have my favorites, but like them all.

If you're looking for an uncomplicated, simple and humrous romance, Betty Neels is the writer for you. Unfortunately, she passed away a few years ago, but she's left behind a treasure. Sister Peters in Amsterdam is only the beginning of a collection of over 100 books that put a smile on your face every time.
