Showdown with Nuclear Iran: Radical Islam's Messianic Mission to Destroy Israel and Cripple the United States
asked by speed5599 on November 13, 2006 3:07 AM
A terrifying examination of how Iran's president (a radical Shiite zealot) believes he has a "divine mission" to usher in the apocalypse and thereby herald the second coming of a Shia Muslim messiah-and how he is trying to achieve this by building his arsenal and threatening to cripple America and destroy Israel in a nuclear holocaust.

Iran MUST be stopped from getting the bomb. Unlike Russia, US, China, etc., and even North Korea, the MADD concept won't work. The radical leaders of Iran have vowed to start a nuclear war. They are willing for their country to be destroyed if they can eliminate Israel and damage the US. They believe they will all get to heaven instantly as martyrs, and it will lead to the second coming of a mystical figure who will establish an all Islamic world. Reason and threats will not work. Hopefully the relaively moderate Arab nations (KSA, Jordan, Egypt, Pakistan, etc.) will defuse Iran as they would also be destroyed in a world nuclear war. If the moderate Moslem states won't, the west Must stop Iran. As Hitler did, the Iranian leaders have announced their plans. The world must heed them. Time is running out. This is all thoroughly documented in this scary book. READ IT!

This well written and informative book could be called "Islam 101." If you have ever wondered about the extreme views of the militant Moslems, this book will give you an in depth understanding of their beliefs.
Do you know the differance between the Sunni and Shi'ite Moslems sects? Who is the Mahdi or 12th Iman and what part does he play in the militant Shi'ite Moslem faith? What part do the wealthy Iranian mullahs have to play in Iran's determination to obtain nuclear weapons? Who is financially backing Hezbosah and other Moslem terrorist organizations? What does a Moslem believer stand to gain by dying in Jihad or holy war? The answers to all these vitually important questions to truly understanding the Moslem viewpoint and more are found in this informative book.
One reviewer expressed disappointment that it didn't contain any Scripture. Having been a believer for many years, I know what the Scriptures have to say about Israel and most other issues confronting the Middle East. I'm glad Mike cut to the chase and helped me better understand the strange ideas of the militant Moslem faith.

As a rule, I don't usually buy or read these types of books. Not being familiar with Mr. Evans or his work I wasn't planning on reading this one either. However, after seeing so many positive reviews and one or two negative reviews that launched into a tirade almost to the point of histerics it made me wonder why these few would be so adamant about someone reading this book, so I bought it to find out and I'm glad I did.
This is a great book, based on facts that anyone who wants to do the research can find out for themselves. Mr. Evans is correct in his assessment of the situation surrounding the middle east and Iran and has put in an easy to understand format. There's nothing in this book that can't be proven if the reader wants to take the time to search it out for themselves.
I'm not going to tell you to buy it. I'm not going to tell you not to buy it. Every person is a free moral agent and you can make up your own mind. Those who would try to criminalize Mr. Evans or his work and coerce you into not buying it are either anti-semitic, pro-terrorist, anti-america or all three. But you decide what you want to do.
If your interested in knowing the truth about the Iran Nuclear Situation, this is as good a place to start as any and better than most. If your not, buy something else.
At any rate, I want to thank all of those persons for their ranting reviews against this book. Because of you, I was compelled to purchase and read a wonderful collection of truth that I would have other wise passed up.

This very informative book gives details on why Iran's leaders want nuclear bombs, even from statements made directly by them. Very recommended reading.

This book, Showdown With Nuclear Iran, shows what the one-sided media doesn't. It was refreshing to read something that doesn't have traces of propaganda attached to it. I recommend this book for anyone who wants to know the full picture of what is going on today in Iran.
To all my brothers and sisters in Christ, who are suffering under a dictator's heavy hand in Iran, you are in my prayers on a daily basis.
