Good for a quick read. This really is not the best quality of writing. The plot is very predictable. Not as good as Charly (which the movie was better than the book). Many stereotipic Mormon things and ideas. I was disappointed.

Most sequels don't live up to the original but Sam does. I'm not a big fan of romance stories, but Charly and Sam have both won a place in my heart. I've read each book probally 4-5 times. This is a story that everyone can relate to. If you havn't read Charly make sure you read that first.

I thought that Charly was sad, but this made me cry so much!
Sam is Jack Weyland at his very best, this book is a must read!
