This is the second book of novelty snowflake patterns fresh from the Rocky Mountain skies. Pages are easily torn out, folded and cut. All you need is this book and a pair of scissors. The 26 patterns are: Teddy Bears, Alleycats, Unicycle Clowns, Aspen Leaves, Snow Dance, Hot Dog Skier, Snow Lizards, Dinosaurs, Candles Aflame, Giraffe Ring, Rose Wreath, Circus Elephants, Mrs. Claus, Ice Castles, The Shepherdess, Raccoons, Swords & Shields, Porcupines, SnowBunnies, Turtles, Forty-eight Legs, Siberian Tigers, Peace Doves, Four-string Ukulele, Double Luck and Bigfoot! The super white, lightweight paper in this book makes beautiful flakes which can be used to decorate everything from the ceiling to the supper table.

This book provides sheets to be torn out and cut into interesting snowfakes. I bought this to work on with my 6-year-old daughter on a snowy day (I had it stashed in the closet in advance). It was a LOT of fun for us. In the beginning, the directions to fold the snowflakes were a bit tricky but after we did the first one, the rest folded the same way and it went smoothly. I folded and she cut the flakes. I didn't tell her what the designs were. She unfolded the cut snowflakes and figured them out herself and she also colored some of them. This turned out great. I would highly recommend this book/project for personal use and for gifts.

Once again another good book to share with grandkids, they love to do crafts and this gives us time together and also get to make pretty snowflakes
