This book brings one out of the confusion of commercialism and processing convenient foods, and back to the reality of what good food is and how to make it. These traditions and methods are on the brink of extinction because of the media and the American lifestyle, and the result on our nations health is devastating. I highly recommend!

Sally Fallon has compiled recipes that prepare food in a way that maximizes nutrition-- many of them are traditional recipes from around the world. She shows the scientific underpinnings of the folk wisdom behind these recipes. This cookbook is pure gold.
