Welcome to the Dragonvarld....In Mistress of Dragons we are introduced to a world where political deception, greed, and avarice have lead to a violation of the "hands off" policy of the Parliament of Dragons concerning the affairs of men.Indeed that violation threatens more than policy and order it threatens the freedoms and survival of the entire human race.

I read this book actually not thinking too much about how it may be. I started reading it because I accidentally bought it thinking it was another book a friend recommended to me. I realized tho after reading the first few chapters that this book just made me want to continue reading to see how things were going to end up. Its a book that just drew me into it. I think it was a wonderful book & I'm now glad that I got it & am going to buy the other two & read them as well. I also recommend if you like this kind of book to read Eragon as well as Eldest which are part of a trilogy as well but the third book hasn't come out yet

If any of you are like me you've read just about everything you can get your hands on. If that is the case then it is so hard to find original fantasy stories that don't spin off of Lord of the Rings, or say Harry Potter. This book is amazing, the way the author winds her story around the characters is so original I had no idea where the story was going. You get very close to all the characters, but no matter how you try the ending is unpredictable, and I love it. If you're into fantasy please please do yourself a favor and read this book.

I first enjoyed this book as a book on tape. I enjoyed it so much I then read the unabridged version and was hooked. I requested the second book of the series be ordered at my local library and was the first to read it (same for the new third in the series). I have never been a fan of the fantasy/magic genre but I have become a loyal fan of Weis.
