Very good reading on background of the disease, thoughts on how to treat/prevent for family members (there is some genetic component) as well as sufferers of the condition themselves.

The Mogks' book is a must-read for all Macular Degeneration patients, their families, and their doctors. It is written in an intelligent but completely approachable style. It is very clear and user-friendly, chock full of advice, resources and information. I have recommended this book to all the MD People I've encountered, and I'm certain they have all been *enlightened* with the Mogks' fine work. Thank you so much, Lylas and Marja.
