Lucky T

Carrie Fitzgerald is the luckiest girl: She is the only sophomore on the varsity basketball team, she always had the lead in the school play, and she has the cutest boyfriend in school. Carrie Fitzgerald is also the most superstitious girl: She attributes all of her good luck to a Moroccan T-shirt that her father sent her from one of his distant jaunts around the world. When her mother accidentally donates Carrie's lucky T to Help India and her good luck starts running out, Carrie does what any logical girl would do -- she travels halfway around the world to get it back. But as she scours a foreign land for her luck, she finds a lot more than she ever expected. She's going to need more than luck to find her way back home again.

I really enjoyed this book. She doesn't a very good life when she loses her lucky T. When she goes to search for it I thought that that was so funny. Meeting so many people and kids and seeing the busy streets. But I think that we all can agree that the best part was when Carrie met Dee. I thought that they would be the cutest couple, after Jason of course. Dee did get mad at her a couple times. Even though he got mad at Carrie, what he did for her on her birthday was so sweet and much more. Buying her the gift, taking her on a rooftop, and FINALLY they kiss. But soon the day comes for Carrie to leave and just the day before Dee and Carrie get in a fight. The day before Carrie leaves she finds Dee on a balcony. They forgive each other and Carrie takes him to the place where he took her. She is wearing the gift that Dee got her for her birthday and she looks amazing. She learns how to dance my Trina and Manisha. She dances with him and he is amazed because Carrie couldn't dance before. She asks Dee if he is going to kiss her and he said that he didn't know. So Carrie decides that she will kiss him. And she did and Dee picked her up of the floor and started spinning. Well I think we all can tell that they love each other. She sometimes comes incontact with her shirt but never seems to get, except one time. She meets Deena and she is wearing her shirt, you would think that Carrie would want her shirt back after coming half way across the world, right? I guess Carrie had a change of heart, so she lets Deena have her lucky T afterall. She comes home and gets back to gether with Piper and she is soo excited to see Carrie after the fight that they had early. Carrie also became friends with her evil "friend" and she hopes that Piper can do the same with Doreen.

Lucky T was simply amazing. Carrie was an amazing young lady in school who everybody wanted to be like she had the hottest boyfriend, she was the only sophomore on the Varsity basketball team and she had the perfect figure.
What I liked most about this book would most defiantly have to be when she discovers everything she thought she had because of her Lucky T was actually all her the shirt just gave her confidence to do what she wanted.
What I didn't like to much about this book was when she got out of the shower and couldn't find her Lucky T. Because I know we all have at least lost something very special and felt very hurt inside, I just didn't like when that happened to her.
My favorite character in this book is without a doubt Carrie she brought a lot of life into the story and she was just like perfect it, well in my opinion.
A scene in the story that really meant something to me was "Deena and her mother have no place to go, no income, she needs clothes". That meant a lot to me because it made me think about what all I have and what other people don't
This book sets apart from any other book that I have read because it really had me thinking about my life. I even felt a tear down my cheek when I read this book. Because we have things that other people would have never dreamed about having and we take it for granite and never think about what we really have.
If someone was to ask me about this book I would have to say. You should really read this book it was have you thinking about your life. Very good book!!!!
One of the questions I have after reading this book. Well not that Carrie realizes that it wasn't the "Lucky T". What is she going think about the rest of her? Is she going to be able to do everything without hr lucky t? That's what I would like to know.
My strongest reason for recommending this book is because after you read this book you will never look at your life the same way. You will have more thanks for the things you have and realize things that have never crossed you mind before. This was without a doubt one of the greatest books I have ever read.
