Sex, scandal and Jackie Collins equals a veritable mix of great reading. I've loved her books since "Hollywood Wives" and this is one of her best in recent years. As always, she pulled me into the book and I had to keep reading until I was done, a few days later! If you liked good, escapism reading, read this! I also recommened "Take Your Shirt Off", too.

Can't wait for her next book!!

I love Jackie Collins books. Her characters, stories and writing style make for an entertaining read. I also like Tamarias Tyree's new book Delicious Housewives, a parody of the TV series and The Jerry Springer Show. Similar to Jackie but with a leaning towards humor, Tyree's novel is also naughty, hot and fun! One of my favorite writers.

I ventured into the world of the modern day fiction with this and it was a very good story. Missing for me was the hot sexy romance I find mixed with my historicals. I guess I prefer that. This was a complex story about power money lots of betrayal and secrets of a whealthy family. Truly it was amazing to me that the 3 sons of Red Diamond managed to only have the few hangups they each did have. Red truly was a bastard of the highest level. So for a book about the complex relationships between 1/2 brothers that were not exactly raised to be close but manage to be there for each other when times get rough - it was a well written good solid interesting story.
