A collection of the first four issues of the popular Lenore comic book series. Lenore: Noogies is a romp into the dark, surreal world of a little dead girl. Featuring stories about limbless cannibals, clock monsters, cursed vampire dolls, taxidermied friends and obssesed would be lover and more fuzzy animal mutilations than should be legal. Lenore is one of the funniest, darkest comic books on the marketplace today.

This is one of my faorite comics. That being said, I have read every issue. It is a chronicle for the misadventures of a cute little dead girl, named Lenore, after an Edgar Allen Poe poem. This is not just for goths...I am NOT gothic, and I love it.

If you like this, read Jhonen Vasquez's 'I Feel Sick' and 'Squee'.

Sorry, but though this is a good book and a fun read, the art is not even close to Jhonen's fine work, so if you're a Jhonen fan and are buying this (as I did) you WILL be dissapointed with the artwork and writing. There were plenty of funny parts, as well as interesting death scenes, but if you want something really great go with Vasquez.
