My wife, daughter and myself have been reading these books over the past few months. My wife and I sit on the deck and read several chapters each morning. What a wonderful way to start the day. Rachel shares herself with us in a way few people would. We are blessed by her books and her life.

These two books are both excellent. They are the kind you read and re-read over and over again admiring the wisdom of the author and wishing that you had an ounce of her rare and wonderful insight! They make wonderful gifts for friends going through a cancer experience or a hard time in general.

Dr. Remen is a wonderful storyteller. Both of these books touch your heartstrings. Each short story should be read and reflected upon as you desire. I've recommended them to others. They too recommend it to their friends after thanking me for the book. Can be used for group readings and discussions. They make a wonderful gift set for someone.

You will find the life-wisdom you already possess (its just buried deep inside)within these pages. Helpful, valuable stories full of healing, connecting words of wisdom-not just for folks fighting diseases but for those dealing with the loss of a loved one. Extremely well written.
