Let's take a journey into the world of Vera Wright-Turner, who leads you to wonder if she will play or be played. Will she learn that love is all she needs or will the love she has be too much for her to stand?

Only knowing the life of gold diggin', hustling men and rejecting love, Vera has suddenly found herself in a world where her game has "flipped...and slipped through her fingertips." While trying to retrace her footsteps in search of where her game could be, Vera discovers that the love she has for Dr. Taj Bennett won't let her go, the hatred that she has for her drug addicted mother is not easy to live with, and ghosts from her past won't seem to die.

Get ready, get set, and run with Vera as Tu-Shonda Whitaker spins a plot explosive, passionate and humorous tale that is destined to be an urban classic!

Both books are very good and kept me laughing out loud. Don't sleep! Read Flip Side of the Game first. You won't be disappointed.

This book was a great continuation to Flip side of the Game. I also loved the fact that the cover reflected the title of both novels. This book was great and I wish to see the continuation of it in PartIII. Although it was hard to believe that the characters were in their 30's but never the less I was still entertained and I always hear that dumb b*tch alert with some of my friends. Vera had me rolling when she would say that about her girl friends. This was a good read.

When i run out of new books to read I always end up going back to this one and reading it again. Vera was a drama queen.. but I understood where she was coming from when she would cuss her momma out because she just wanted her to get that monkey off her back.. I think the book was really good. I like how Taj was thuggin it but the nigga was a doctor.. It shows you don't always have to sell drugs to live good.

Well, I was kind of stuck on this one in the beginning because I didnt read Flipside Of The Game, however, this book was very good for those who didnt read the first novel. I really liked the real life situations and it portrayed a good image. People really do grow up :-)! I enjoyed this read.
