This book was very helpful in theory...lots of practice questions and tests to help you review the concepts you learned in your EMT test. In reality, though, the book had many errors and discrepancies that made studying it frustrating. For one section the questions didn't even correspond with the answers - there was a question talking about bioterrorism, and the answer choices had to do with whether or not a certain trauma patient needed a cervical collar.

I would recommend the book to everyone if it were accurate, but since it's not, I don't recommend it. It can be very confusing to the frazzled EMT student trying to prepare for NREMT exams because it's hard to tell on some questions what the right answer truly is, and you can't exactly trust the book.
