I like reading Hannah Howell and this book is a good read.I like the way story is told the way people cope in the war torn country and lern to love and live and hope for the better tomorrow.

I am a huge hannah howell fan. I own so many of her books and have loved and devoured all of them. So when I went to her website, I decided to buy some of her books from the past. I was very surprised at how expensive they were, but I knew, just knew, that they would be worth the extra money because her books are so great. Boy, was I disappointed. From the very first page, this book was a mess. Not enough background at all, given for both the male and female characters. Not enough story either, and I just could never get involved. And believe me, given the extra money I spent, I tried. I have not one positive thing to say about this book. It just seemed to lack any sparkle or imagination whatsoever. For those who disagree, and I'd really be suprised to see who would, the only thing I could say is that maybe I had too high expectations. But I did learn not to buy a book that has no reviews or ratings, no matter how much you like the author. At least you could say she definitely developed into a fantastic author later on.
