This is a very good place to start if you want to learn how to cook. I bought this when I first learn to cook. The list of basic kitchen equipment and the measurement conversion table is really something really beneficial when you are a beginner, give this book a try and I know that you will be able to learn a lot from it. If you are seasoned cook, this book might not be right for you.
