i've had this book since i've been a little kid, and I still think it is one of the best childrens books ever.

This is the best book to use with your child who is developing in language acquisition. I sat with both my 9-24 month old children pointing to the pictures and telling them what the picture was. I was fun to watch them point to a bus, school bus etc. and even though they might not yet be able to say the words, you could tell they recognized the actual object.
