There is nothing in this world stronger than love. Especially spiritual love. Love that's deep. Wild. True. It will find you when you least expect it. Whether you want it to or not…

Nathaniel Woods is a happily married man. With a wonderful wife, beautiful daughter and booming career, he couldn't possibly want more. Until he meets Doctor Taiyler Richardson. Young, brilliant, beautiful, and his best friend's new love interest. He can't take his eyes off of her. No matter how hard he tries. Something's pulling him in. Something that he can't place. Her laugh. Her smile. Her eyes. They're all so familiar…

Taiyler is happy. She's an accomplished physician. A woman of class, culture and exceptional beauty. Her life is exactly how she envisioned it. With her best friend Shala by her side, who's more like a sister, she can get through anything. And with Derrick, her new love, she's experiencing all that she's ever wanted in a relationship. In a man. Until she meets Nat, Derrick's best friend and fraternity brother. And has a hard time looking him in the eye. Shaking his hand. Exchanging words. He's in her space, her skin, her hair and her clothes. He's even in her dreams…

Find out what happens when love transcends lifetimes. When souls divide and are reunited over time. When kindred spirits are rekindled against wills. Against logic. When love wins. When it conquers all

T.P Carter did and excellent job of writting a story that captures your heart. Let me say if are not into the "soul mate theroy" then this book is not for you but if you are like me and believe that one person in this world can compete you then this book is for you. When I finished I was just in awe. thank you T.P for bringing back romance.

I am so in love with this book. I am disappointed for 2 reasons- the first being that I should have read this book sooner, and second, that the book was so good that when I finished, I was disappointed that I had nothing else left to read. The reviewers who truly have read this book did not lie-- this book was absolutely fantastic! From the start of the first page, you are completely drawn to the characters until the very end. Although the book ends in tragedy, I wish that there were a sequel to the story. I could not get enough of Taiyler and Nathaniel. Their love was something that is written in the best love stories ever created. I feel as though I am spiritually connected to the characters. What an awesome love that was! It almost defied description, but many thanks to the author for her poetic and metaphoric prose. T.P. Carter is definitely a force to be reckoned with in the world of fiction. As a personal note to the author, this book has to be made into a motion picture. It is just too powerful to not look into. Also, go to the author's website, listen to Goapele's "Closer" and tell me that the song isn't a summary of the book in its totality. Absolutely gorgeous work, Ms. T.P. Carter!!!

This book was horrible! The author copied the writing style of Eric Jerome Dickey and not in a good way. It starts off with Nat begin so in love with his wife, but yet he still cheats on her with his best friend girl. Tayilor and Nat are suppose to be "soul mates". Yeah right":(
Nat's wife is Tayilor and her best friends doctor, but she doesn't know her own patient is sleeping with her husband. I would strongly recommend that if you do want to read this book, get it from the library. It would be a waste of money to buy it.
