This book, as well as the concept of avoiding Monosodium Glutamate (and MSG by its 80 other names) explains a way of life we should all live by. It is in-depth, yet very easy to read and understand. The author explains in a comprehensive way, how you can live in America and still choose to eat for your health-she tells you how to do just that.
When you realize you are suffering from MSG toxicity, you are usually very vulnerable and it is difficult to see past all the fast food, processed food, and restaurants out there. You think "Where can I go for help?" Deb gives you that help- methods and recipes for functioning independently of MSG, despite what the people who sell MSG into our society would have you believe.
This is an excellent book, and I personally salute Deb Anglesey for having the courage to educate us (while the food industry would prefer to keep us in the dark) into how MSG is harming our health and our children's futures.

I bought my first copy in 1999 when I suffered from disabling migraines. As I began to learn about food and what to avoid I began to gain control over my migraines. I still buy this book to give to others who seem most appreciative. I also can not understand why anyone would discount this book. It gives a clear and concise overview of the problem many people have with food sensitivity but don't comprehend. If people want to go on further and experiment with vitamins and supplements that is fine. I personally am willing to make some dietary changes to have a better quality of life.

Got this book in Febuary 2006, read the book from cover to cover. The information has helped change my life after the doctor told me I had Fibromalygia. (I'm pain free now....) The recipes in the book are great and has helped me come up with some new ones on my own.
