I wouldn't have minded this graphic novel too much with four stories in which Batman clashes with the likes of the Riddler and Man-bat, but the artwork is very awful. The characters look so drawn out of human dimension. The stories themselves by Chuck Dixon, Doug Moench, etc...are good. But the artwork is a big disapointment.

When I first saw this book ( misplaced in the travel section, I might add ), I got very upset, seeing as how Batman is truly ONE of a kind. Turns out, however, that the writers were talking of the bad guys when they titled the work. Anyhow, it must've been a bad week for the artist. Although Batman looks impressive as always, the Riddler is drawn like a bean pole after a forty day fast, and his weight apparently has been shifted to Miss Catwoman who comes across like Kristy Allie in spandex. But these nauseating thoughts aside, the book is most enjoyable to read ( as long as you're not eating ).
